I will be creating a informative magazine on my chosen topic which is 'healthy eating and healthy Diet',  i chose this topic to help people live a healthy and balanced life style because a healthy diet is essential for good health and nutrition. Healthy eating means enjoying a variety of foods and consuming less salt and saturated and factory made fat are essential for a healthy diet.  To make my magazine I'm going to be using adobe software such as photoshop for editing my pictures and to create my magazine I will be using InDesign. my intention is to create a simple yet classic magazine where it will include some history of healthy and eating will also be a small guide on to help and persuade people to take care of their life style or start an healthy diet I will be also advertising my colleague's healthy drink to give it more attention and also that relates to my topic which is about healthy eating and healthy diet.

What is Healthy life?
According to WHO, healthy living is a way of living that helps you enjoy more aspects of your life. It is less likely for people to become seriously ill or die early if they lead a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle does not just mean avoiding disease or illness. Physical, mental, and social well-being are all important.

I have also found that to keep a maintained healthy life, the main principles of healthy are health is having a healthy diet and getting regular exercise no drugs (no smoking no drinking) and adequate rest and positive thinking. Having a positive mindset within your self really motivates of how to take care of yourself.

A healthy life is one that involves taking care of both the body and mind. It means making conscious choices to eat nutritious foods, engage in regular physical activity, get enough sleep, manage stress effectively, and maintain positive relationships with others. A healthy lifestyle also includes avoiding harmful substances such as tobacco and excessive alcohol consumption. By prioritizing these habits, individuals can reduce their risk of developing chronic diseases and improve their overall quality of life. Ultimately, a healthy life is about finding balance and making sustainable choices that promote wellbeing both now and in the future.

why is a healthy diet important

A balanced diet is necessary for both good nutrition and health. You are protected from many long-term, noncommunicable illnesses like cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. A balanced diet that limits salt, sugar, saturated fats, and trans fats from industrial production is crucial for good health. The foundation of good health is a well-balanced, nutritious diet, as well as regular exercise and quitting smoking. Consuming high-quality proteins, carbohydrates, heart-healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, and water in your food is part of a healthy diet, as is avoiding alcohol, processed foods, and saturated fats. This way of eating helps you maintain your body's daily functions, promotes optimal weight, and can help prevent disease.

A visual image that I found during my research of healthy diet, I have found this picture of healthy plate which includes accurate recommendations  for following a healthy diet and shows how much and what kind of food you should have on your Healthy Plate.

What is the difference between having a healthy and a unhealthy diet?

According to my research Eating well can help you stay in good physical, mental, and emotional health as well as maintain a healthy weight and immune system. On the other hand, eating unhealthy food can make you gain weight, contribute to health problems, and shorten your lifespan.

Having a healthy diet means consuming a variety of nutrient-dense foods that provide the body with essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. A balanced diet includes whole grains, vegetables, fruits, lean proteins, and healthy fats. In contrast, an unhealthy diet is made up of processed and high-calorie foods that are low in nutritional value. These types of foods can lead to weight gain, chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease, and poor mental health.

A healthy diet provides numerous benefits for overall well-being. It helps maintain a healthy weight, reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease and cancer, improves brain function and mood, boosts energy levels and enhances athletic performance. On the other hand, an unhealthy diet can increase the risk of developing obesity-related conditions like type 2 diabetes or heart disease. It also contributes to poor digestion health resulting in constipation or diarrhea which can affect one's productivity at work or school. Overall maintaining a healthy diet is crucial for ensuring longevity and preventing various illnesses while reducing medical costs associated with treating them.

 History of healthy eating:

Healthy food is becoming an unstoppable trend, in large part because of a growing awareness of nutrition among people. Many brands have reformulated or remarked their products in response to consumer demand for healthier foods.

The history of healthy eating dates back to ancient times when the Greeks and Romans emphasized on the importance of a balanced diet consisting of fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, and lean protein. Hippocrates, known as the father of medicine, also advocated for healthy eating habits that included consuming whole foods, avoiding processed foods, and maintaining a balanced diet to prevent diseases. In the 19th century, modern nutrition science emerged which further reinforced the significance of a well-balanced diet.

In the early 20th century, food processing became more advanced leading to an increase in consumption of processed and junk foods that were high in sugar, salt and unhealthy fats. This led to a rise in obesity rates and various lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. As a result, many health experts started promoting healthy eating habits by advocating for wholesome foods such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains and lean proteins. The concept of organic farming and sustainable agriculture also gained popularity during this time.

Today's society has a renewed focus on healthy eating habits due to rising concerns about obesity and chronic diseases. Consumers are becoming more aware of what they eat and where their food comes from. Many people are opting for plant-based diets or reducing their meat intake while others are adopting gluten-free or dairy-free diets. Moreover, there is increasing emphasis on food sustainability with initiatives like farm-to-table initiatives gaining momentum. Overall, the history of healthy eating shows how our understanding of nutrition has evolved over time with new discoveries emerging constantly leading to healthier lifestyles.

Target Audience:
The Target audience for my topic is going to be a certain category as people any age can be health conscious but the majority of the audience is 17-40 as they would have even better understanding about their health and how to take care of themselves . people aged 20 to 35 are also more concerned with their appearance and fitness so these people are typically exercising on a regular basis and looking for a healthy diet alternative therefore with on magazine i will be able to give health advice and tips to motivate them to take part in taking a healthy diet alternative.

Primary Research:
making a survey and quiz
Examples of surveys i have looked at to create an idea of what questions to ask in my survey

Making a research survey asking up 20 people to get a wide range and variety based of how their life style is and what they eat to be healthy on a daily basis therefore this will help on what  to write on my magazine.

Survey feedback

Forms response chart. Question title: How old are you?. Number of responses: 16 responses.

Forms response chart. Question title: Are you healthy as you think?. Number of responses: 16 responses.

Forms response chart. Question title: Do you keep count of your calorie intake?. Number of responses: 16 responses.

Forms response chart. Question title: Are you a fan of eating vegetables?. Number of responses: 16 responses.

Forms response chart. Question title: what meals do you eat in a day?. Number of responses: 16 responses.

From the results that i have got from my survey, I have learnt that most people think they are healthy but not as they think they are this  shows how  people do take care of the health and also do keep in mind of their health. From the 16 responses I got its shows that 93.8% are a fan of eating vegetables which honestly surprised me as I didn't really think people would be a fan of Vegetables.

 Analyzing Magazine cover:

I have found a magazine cover through a website which i thought was very interesting and it eye catching I like the colours that have been used as its not too bright and not too light and someway to the pictures that have been used to show the health food, by this in my opinion it will make the reader want to read more in the magazine and maybe also start try to eat healthy food. The picture that has been used for the background is very persuading and the photography that has been used as if the theres a person holding the for and the picture has been taken to make it look the the fork is floating which makes the food more of the main topic.

The title "Eat Healthy" with slogan "Food with Benefits" is a very simple yet engaging lines with the reader as they will feel motivated to eat healthy.

Photoshoot ideas

 inspirations
This a poster i found on pintrest and it caught my attention as looks great the design is very eye-catchy but simple and the colour scheme is pleasing to look at. overall the poster look very well made. i really like the idea of they have mixed the letters in the food as it gives a unique look.

Distribution
The distribution of the magazine i will be doing it online and i also will be distributing it on print marketing.

A digital magazine also known as a electronic magazine where its published in a digital format.

A print magazine is where its published physically and is sold in shops for people to buy and read.

Differences between a print and digital magazine:

The differences between a print and a digital magazine is that on a print magazine you can include a full page that would catch peoples attention and you can also insert slips. you can also consider the printing costs, paper quality and shipping. with a digital magazine , you would need to consider website design and formatting for different devices.

Another difference between a digital and print magazine is that with a digital magazine, you can include interactive content such as videos and links where as with a print magazine you would be limited to static content. additionally, a digital magazine would be more easily accessible to a wider audience, while a print magazine would be limited to physical distribution.

One major difference between digital and print magazines when it comes to advertising is the way ads are displayed. In a print magazine, ads are typically static and limited to the physical space available on he page. in a digital magazine, however ads can be interactive and include multimedia content such as videos and links. additionally, digital magazine can target ads to specific demographics and track ad performance more effectively than print magazine.

In terms of cost, the difference between the digital magazine and print magazine is that digital magazines are generally less expensive to produce and distribute than print magazines. This is because digital magazines don't require the same level of printing and shipping costs as print. Additionally, the digital magazines can be produced more quickly and with lower overhead costs, which can result in lower subscription prices for readers. However, the cost of a producing a digital magazine can vary depending on the quality of the content and the technology used to create the digital magazine.

Magazine inspirations layout

These are pictures of magazines I took in class. my teacher had brought these magazines for the class so we could have a look at them and see and get ideas of what we could to do while creating a magazine for our final product.

I took this pictures as i really like the layout and style as it gives it a simple but classic yet with much information and its not too much to the point its looks too messy to read and I also really like the simple colors as it gives classic and calm vibe to the magazine.
